Solve and Verify 7(X-2)=2(x-4)

7(x-2) = 2(x-4)

7x -14 = 2x-8

7x - 2x = -8 + 14

5x = 6

x= 6/5

x = 1.2

Re-substituting we get,

7(1.2-2) = 2(1.2 -4)
