Thus, solving the given equation as bellow,

$\frac{5z-11}{3z+7}=-2$

shifting denominator to RHS we get,

$5z-11=-2(3z+7)\\5z-11=[-6z-14]\\5z-11=-6z-14$

Taking common term one side we get,

$5z+6z=-14+11\\11z=-3\\z=\frac{-3}{11}$

Hence the value of z is $\frac{-3}{11}$.
