Given that :-

  • 44 m of cloth is needed to make = 16 shirts

Required :-

Cloth needed to make one shirt

= 44 m ÷ 16

= 2.75 m

4. 220 glasses

  • Vessel has = 13,200 ml of fruit juice

Required :-

No. of glasses of 60 ml needed to fill the vessel

= 13,200 ml ÷ 60

= 220 glasses

5. a) 40 × 528 × 25

= (40 × 25) × 528

= 1000 × 528

= 528000

b) 8 × 451 × 125

= (125 × 8) × 451

= 1000 × 451

= 451000
