    3x + 4y=10 ......  x 1​    

=> 3x + 4y=10                    (i)

   2x - 2y = 2​ .......... x 2    

=> 4x - 4y = 4                   ( ii)

Now, adding (i) and (ii)

    3x + 4y = 10

+   4x - 4y  =  4  

    7x          = 14

=> x = 14/7

=> x = 2      ( Ans )

Now,

   2x - 2y = 2​

=>( 2 x 2) - 2y = 2

=> 4 - 2y = 2

=> -2y = 2 - 4

=> -2y = -2

=> y = -2/-2
