2x^2 + x-4

now we divide 2 on both sides

then x^2 +x/2-2 =0

now adding and subtracting ( 1/4)^2

next it convert into( a+ b)^2

we see that (x+1/4)^2=2+1/16

x+1/4=√33/4

x=√33-1/4
