Given:- 4x-3y = 8 and x-2y = -3
from 2nd equation, we get
x = 2y-3
Substituting the value of x in equation1, we get
4(2y-3) -3y = 8 ⇒ 8y-12 - 3y = 8 ⇒ 5y = 8+12 = 20 ⇒ y = 20/5 = 4
Substituting the value of y in 3rd equation, we get
x = 2*4 - 3 = 8 - 3 = 5
Ans: x=5, y=4

Answer:

Given:- 4x-3y = 8 and x-2y = -3

from 2nd equation, we get

x = 2y-3

Substituting the value of x in equation1, we get

4(2y-3) -3y = 8 ⇒ 8y-12 - 3y = 8 ⇒ 5y = 8+12 = 20 ⇒ y = 20/5 = 4

Substituting the value of y in 3rd equation, we get

x = 2*4 - 3 = 8 - 3 = 5

Ans: x=5, y=4
