Solve by cross multiplication method: x/3 + y/4 = 1, 5x/6 - y3 = -7​

x/3 +y/4 =1

5x/6 - y^3=-7

x/3 +y/4 = 1]×5/6

5x/6 - y^3= -7]×1/3

5x/18 +5y/24=5/6

5x/18+y^3/3=-7/3

5y/24 -y^3/3 =5/6+7/3

5y-8y^3/24=5+14/6

-3y^2/24=19/6

-y^2/8=19/6

-6y^2=152

-y^2=152/6

-y^2=25.3..

y^2= -25.3...

y=5.
