Hope help you my answer....
x+y=3..........(1)
2x-y=0..........(2)
By cross multiplication method----
Here, a1=1,b1=1,c1=-3
And a2=2,b2=-1,c2=0
Now, x/b1c2-b2c1 = y/c1a2-c2a1 = 1/a1b2-a2b1
: x/1*0-(-1)*(-3) = y/-3*2-0*1 = 1/1*(-1)-2*1
: x/0-3 = y/-6-0 = 1/-1-2
: x/-3 = y/-6 = 1/-3
Now, x/-3 = 1/-3
x = 1
And, y/-6 = 1/-3
y = 2
Hence, x=1 and y=2
