2. 8y -3x = 5xy ; 6x - 5y = -2xy
Solution :-

Let us eliminate the xy term...
=> 8y - 3x = 5xy ............ (1)
=> 6y - 5x = -2xy .............(2)
Now, multiply eq.(1) with 2 and also multiply the eq. (2) with 5
=> (1) 16y - 6x = 10xy ; (2) 30y-25x=-10xy
Now add them...
=> 16y-25x-6x+30y = 10xy-10xy
=> 46y-31x = 0
=> 46y = 31x
=> y = 31/46×x..............(3)
by sub. y = 31/46xin eq. (1)
=> 8(31/46x) - 3x = 5x(31/46x)
by Multiplying by 46 and divide by x on both sides....
=> 248 - 138 = 155x
=> 110 = 155x
=> x = 110/155
=> x = 22/31
Now, find y....
=> y = 31/46 × x
=> y = 31/46 × 22/31
=> y = 11/23
Now, 2x + y = ??
=> 2(22/31) + 11/23
=> 44/31 + 11/23
=> 1012+341/713
=> 1353/713
