Step-by-step explanation:

3x-4y=1×4

4x-3y=6×3

_________

12x-16y=4

12x-9y =18

- + -

________

-7y = - 14

y = -14/-7

y = 2

substitute the value in 2 equation u get x value

4×x-3×2 =6

4x - 6 =6

4x = 6+6

4x = 12

x = 12 / 4

x = 3

x = 3,y = 2

Answer:

multiply fist equation by 4 and 2nd equation by 3

then we get two new equations which are 12x-16y=4

and the second one is 12x -9y= 18

Step-by-step explanation:

12x-16y=4 ..(1)

12x-9y =18..(2)

___________

0-7y= -14

y=2

put the value of y in 1st equation

3x-4(2)=1

3x-8=1

3x= 1+8

3x=9

x=3

so the value of x= 3

and value of y=2
