Step-by-step explanation:

3x+4y=11—(i)

5x-12y=3—(ii)

multiplying equ. (i) by 3

3(3x+4y=11)

9x+12y=11—(iii)

eliminating y by

adding equ. (ii) &(iii)

5x-12y=3

9x+12y=11

= 14x=14

=x=14/14

=x=1

putting the value of x any of these equation.

3x+4y=11

3+4y=11

4y=11-3

y=8/4

y=2
