Answer:

3x-y=23  equation no 1

4x+3y=48 equation no 2

then do multiply by 4 in equation 1 and by 3 in equation 2

then result will be

12x-4y=92 equation 3

12x+9y=144 equation 4

then subtract eqn 3 from eqn 4

after subtracting we get

13y=52 means

y=4

put the value of y in eqn 1

3x-y=23

3x-4=23

3x=27

x=9

Step-by-step explanation:

3x - y = 23 .........(1)

4x + 3y = 48 .....(2)

Therefore , multiply equ (1) × 3... 9x - 3y = 69

Adding equ (1) and (2)

9x - 3y = 69

4x + 3y = 48

————————

13x = 117

x = 9

Put x = 9 in equation (1)

3x - y = 23

3×9 - y = 23

27 - y = 23

- y = 23 - 27

- y = - 4

y = 4

Solution of equation (x,y) = (9,4)
