Answer Given, 3x− y+711 +2=10

⇒33x−(y+7)+2211=10

⇒ 33x−y−7+22=110

⇒ 33x−y=95 ..(i)

Also, 2y+x+117 = 10

⇒14y+x+117 = 10

⇒ 14y+x+11=70

14y+x=59

14y=59−x

⇒ y = 59−x14

eq. (i) becomes

33x - (59−x14) = 95

⇒462x−59+x14 = 95

⇒ 463x - 59 = 1330

⇒ x = 3

When x = 3 eq. (i) becomes

33(3) - y = 95

⇒ y =4
