3x - y = 7

+ 4x + y = 14

7x = 21

x = 21

x = 3

put x = 3 in equation 1

3x - y = 7

3 × 3 - y = 7

9 - y = 7

- y = 7 - 9

- y = - 2

y = 2

we put value of x =3 in equation 2.

4x +y =14Equation 2.

4×3+y =14

12+y =14

y =14-12

y= 2

The solution is equation3x- y =7 ;4x +y =1

x=3,y=2
