Solve by elimination method
4/x+5y=7;
3/x+4y=5

let take 1/x = U

such that our equation will be

4u+5y=7 ......(1)

3u+4y=5 .......(2)

now multiply equ.(1) by 3 and equ

(2) by 4

hence we have

12u+15y= 21

12u+16y=20

now subtract both the equation

-y=1

y=-1

now put this value in equation (1)

4u-5=7

4u=12

u=3

or u=1/x

3=1/x
