s - t = 3 ------(i)

s/t + t/2 = 6 ----( ii)

(i) s = 3 + t ----( iii)

Now, substituting the value of s in equation ( ii)

3 + t + t/ 2 = 6

3

6+2t+3t = 6

6

6 + 5t= 6

6

6 + 5t = 36

5t = 30

t = 6

Putting the value of t in equation (iii)

s = 3 + 6

= 9

s = 9, t = 6
