x+2y= 7......1
x-2y=1 ......2
x + 2y = 1 \\ x - 2y = 1 \\ 2x = 8 \\ x = 4
put x=4 in 1
4 + 2y = 7 \\ 2y = 7 - 4 \\ 2y = 3 \\ y = 3/2
Therefore (x,y) (4,3/2)

and X-2Y=1 be the equation 2
X+2Y=7
X-2Y=1
_______
2X=8
X=4
and substitute x value in eq 1,we gwt
Y=3/2=1.5

chhajedchirag1p32bb2: the value of y is wrong
Bhavanavindamuri: THEN CORRECT IT ....THIS IS THE PROCEDURE TO DO....
Bhavanavindamuri: THEN WAT IS THE Y VALUE
