Answer:

Given polynomials are Y = 2x + 14 and 7x = 2y + 5

y - 2x - 14 = 0   and 7x - 2y - 5 = 0

If we write in an ordered way then,

-2x + y  = 14 ---- equation 1

7x - 2y  = 5 ---- equation 2

equation 1 × -2 = 4x - 2y = -28

equation 2 × 1 =   7x - 2y = 5

On subtracting two equations we get  -3x = -33

To find x we get x = \frac{-33}{-3} = 11

7x - 2y = 5

77 - 2y = 5

-2y = -72

y = 36

HENCE X IS 11 AND Y IS 36

PLEASE MARK IT BRAINLIEST .

Step-by-step explanation:

Given polynomials are Y = 2x + 14 and 7x = 2y + 5

y - 2x - 14 = 0 and 7x - 2y - 5 = 0

If we write in an ordered way then,

-2x + y = 14 ---- equation 1

7x - 2y = 5 ---- equation 2

equation 1 × -2 = 4x - 2y = -28

equation 2 × 1 = 7x - 2y = 5

On subtracting two equations we get -3x = -33

To find x we get x = \frac{-33}{-3}

−3

−33

= 11

7x - 2y = 5

77 - 2y = 5

-2y = -72

y = 36

HENCE X IS 11 AND Y IS 36
