x+16=-1×2

x+16=-2

x = -2-16

x = -18

Now put the value of x in equation second

x-y/3=3

Take LCM.

-18-y/3=3

(-54-y)/3=3

-54-y=3×3

-54-y=9

-y=9+54

y=-63
