Step-by-step explanation:

HELLO DEAR,

x + 7y = 10------------( 1 )

3x - 2y = 7------------( 2 )

from-------( 1 ) & --------( 2 )

multiply by ---(3)* in ----( 1)

3x + 21y = 30

3x - 2y = 7

(-)___(+)__(-)

--------------------

23y = 23

Y = 1 [ put in ---( 1 ) ]

we get,

X + 7y = 10

x + 7(1) = 10

x = 10 - 7

x = 3 , y = 1

I HOPE ITS HELP YOU DEAR,

THANKS

Elimination Method

X+7y=10 .......(1)

3x-2y=7 ......(2)

Multiply equation (1) by 3 to make the coefficients of x equal, we get

3x+21y= 30 ......(3)

3x-2y=7 .....…(2)

Subtract equation (2) from equation (3), we get

23y=23

y=1

Substituting this value of y in equation (1), we get

x+7(1)=10

x+7=10

x= 10-7

x= 3
