x²-7x+12=0

Answer:

x² - 7x + 12 = 0

x² - 4x - 3x + 12 = 0

Now take common terms out

x(x - 4) -3(x - 4) = 0

(x-3) (x-4) = 0

x-3 =0 and x-4 =0

x = 0-3 and x = 0-4

∴ x = -3 and x = -4
