  • Factorise the above expression.

SOLUTION:

=> 9x²-144/25 = 0

=> (3x)²-(12/5)² = 0

=> (3x+12/5)(3x-12/5) = 0

Either (3x+12/5) = 0

=> 3x = -12/5

=> x = (-12/5)*(1/3)

=> x = -4/5

.Either (3x-12/5) = 0

=> 3x = 12/5

=> x = (12/5)*(1/3)

=> x = 4/5

Value of x are (-4/5) or (4/5)
