y=0

2x+6=0

x=-6/2 =-3

2(0)+y+6=0

y=0

3(0)-2y-12=0

-2y=+12

y=-6

GIVEN : y=6-3x

              y=4-x
TO FIND Solution using graphical method.
SOLUTION: As we know,

The values of x and y are interrelated.

Now,

Taking up equation 1 ( y = 6-3x )

Firstly,

Putting up x = 0

Therefore,  y = 6 - 3(0)

                   y = 6 - 0

                   y = 6

The first point of the solution is (0,6)

Secondly,

Putting up y = 0

Therefore,  0 = 6 - 3x

                   3x = 6

                   x = 2

The second point of the solution is (2,0)

Plot both the points on the Graph and connect them to make a line.

Now,

Taking up equation 2 ( y = 4 - x )

Firstly,

Putting up x = 0

Therefore,  y = 4 - 0

                   y = 4 - 0

                   y = 4

The first point of the solution is (0,4)

Secondly,

Putting up y = 0

Therefore,  0 = 4 - x

                   x = 4

                   x = 4

The second point of the solution is (4,0)

Plot both the points on the Graph and connect them to make a line.

The Intersecting point of both the lines on the graph can be recognized as the solution for the equations.
