To prove BC ² = 4 (AD²-AC²)
proof - In right triangle ACD
by pythagoreas theorem.
=> AD² = AC² + CD²
=>AD² - AC² = CD²
=>AD² - AC² = [1 / 2 BC]²
Given [CD = 1/2 BC]
=>AD² -AC²= 1/4 BC²
=>4 ( AD²- AC²) = BC²
PROVED
