Answer:

1) 5x² + 4√5x + 3

= 5x²+√5x+3√5x+3

= √5x(√5x+1)+3(√5x+1)

= (√5x+1)(√5x+3)

5x² + 4√5x + 3 = (√5x+1)(√5x+3)

x = -1/5, -3/5

2) 2x² + 2√14x + 7

= 2x²+√14x+√14x+7

= √2x(√2x+√7)+√7(√2x+√7)

= (√2x+√7)(√2x+√7)

2x² + 2√14x + 7 = (√2x+√7)(√2x+√7)

x = -7/5, -7/2

3) x²− √2x − 12

= x²+2√2x-3√2x-12

= x(x+2√2) - 3√2(x+2√2)

= (x-3√2)(x+2√2)

x²− √2x − 12 = (x-3√2)(x+2√2)

x = 32, -22
