Hey Dhyana1805! Would you please send the equation please,I doubt y^2 would have been mistaken for x^2.Because this equation seems to be a quadratic equation,so the standard equation is given as ax^2+bx+c.So you see,only one variable exists in quadratic equations.But in the given equation two variables i.e. x and y are present.Please check again.
