Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

2x + 5y + 4 = 0

2x + 5y = - 4

2x = - 5y  - 4

x = ( - 5y  - 4 )/2..........1

Substituting x value in 2nd eqn. x-5y=11

( - 5y  - 4 )/2 -5y=11

( - 5y  - 4 ) -10y=22

-5y-10y=22+4

-15y=26

y=-26/15

Substituting y value in 2nd eqn. x-5y=11

x-5(-26/15)=11

x-26/3=11

3x-26=33

3x=33+26

So,x=59/3  and y=-26/15
