Step-by-step explanation:

QUESTION ;

Solve by substitution method,

2x - 2y = 2 , 4x + 3y = 2

ADDITIONAL ABOUT SUBSTITUTIONAL ;

In this method, we used to let the 2 equation of given data and used to Substitute the value of one in other for the actual result.

SOLUTION ;

2x - 2y = 2

2x = 2y + 2

x = ( 2y + 2) /2......1st equation

4x + 3y = 2.........2nd equation,

Now, substituting the value of x in 2nd eqn,

4( 2y + 2) / 2 + 3y = 2

( 8y + 8 + 6y) / 2 = 2

14y + 8 = 4

14y = - 4

y = - 4/14

y = -2/7

similarly,

substituting value of y in 2nd,

4x + 3× -2/7 = 2

28x + -6 = 14

28x = 20

x = 20/28

x = 5/7
