43x+ 67y = - 24 and  67x + 43y = 24---------(1)
43x+67y=-24 or x=(-24-67y)/43-------(2)
Substituting(2) in(1),we get
67[(
-24-67y)/43]+43y=24
=>(-1608-4489y)/43+43y=24
=>-1689-4489y+1849y=24
=>-1689-2640y=24
=>1713=-2640y
=>y=1713/2640--------------(3)
putting this value of (3) in (2) we'll get value of x.

Riasha: Thanks I was trying to figure out what thiss could be. :)
bhargu: sister i now that the values of x=1 and y=-1
bhargu: but i dont the steps
vivek2001: ohh
vivek2001: now u got bhargu
vivek2001: whom riasha is saying thanx
bhargu: but the steps u did is not correct
vivek2001: no it is correct
bhargu: i got the solutions from the net the value of x=1 and y=-1

Answer:

(1,-1)

Step-by-step explanation:

Given : 43x+67y= -24

            67x+43y =24

To Find : Solve by substitution

Solution:

43x+67y= -24  ---1

67x+43y =24   ---2

Substitute the value of x from 1 in 2

67(\frac{-24-67y}{43})+43y =24

\frac{67(-24-67y)+43\times 43y}{43} =24

\frac{-1608-4489y+1849y}{43} =24

-1608-2640y =1032

-2640y =1032+1608

-2640y =2640

y=-1

Substitute the value of y in 1 to get value of x.

43x+67(-1)= -24

43x= -24+67

43x= 43

x=1

Thus the solution is (1,-1)
