Step-by-step explanation:

2x+3y=11---------1equation

2x-4y=-24---------2equation

2x-4y=-24

2x=-24+4y

x=-24+4y/2-------3equation

from equation 1 and 3, we get-

2*(-24+4y/2)+3y=11

-48+8y/2+3y/1=11/1

-48+8y+6y/2=22

8y+6y=22+48

14y=70

y=70/14

y=5

putting value of y in equation 3 ,we get-

x=-24+4y/2

-24+4*5/2

-24+20/2

-4/2

x=-2

putting value of x and y in equation y=mx+3

y=mx+3

5=m*-2+3

5=-2m+3

2m=3-5

2m=-2

m=-2/2

m=-1
