here in the question equations are

(5/x)-3y=7....................(i)

(3/x)-2y=4....................(ii)

multiply equation (i) with 2 and (ii) with 3 we get,

(10/x)-6y=14.........(iii)

(9/x)-6y=12........…(iv)

substitute (iii) from (iv)

1/x=2 so,x=(1/2)

put x=(1/2) in equation (ii) we get,

6-2y=4

2y=2 so,y=2/2=1

so we get x=(1/2) and y=1
