Solve by substitution method 5(x+3)=3y, 2x-y=0

Heya..,

Your answer is here..,

5(x+3) = 3y

5x + 15 = 3y

5x - 3y = -15....(1)

2x - y. = 0.....(2)×3

5x - 3y = -15

6x - 3y = 0

-. +. -

-x. =- 15

x = 15

put x = 15 in equation...(2)

6x - 3y =0

6× 15 - 3y = 0

90 - 3y = 0

-3y = 0 - 90

-3y = -90

y = -90/-3

y = 30

solution of (x,y) = (15, 30).
