X = 6- 6/y...........(2)
3x - 8/y = 5..............(3)
putting the value of x in equation (3)
3(6-6/y) - 8/y = 5
18 - 18/y - 8/y = 5
- 26/y = 5-18
-26/y. = -13
y= 2. answer
putting the value of y in equation (3)
X = 6-6/2
= 6 - 3
