Answer:

8y - 3x + 7 = 0 ------------------1

2x - y + 4 = 0.------------------2

From 2,

2 x=y-4

x=y-4/2

substitute value of x in 1,

8y-3(y-4)/2=7

8y-3y+12/2=7

5y+12/2=7

5y+12= 7*2=14

5y=14-12=2

y=2/5=0.4

therefore x=(2/5-4)/2

x=(2-20)/5 x (1/2)

x=-18/5 x 1/2

x= -18/10

x= - 1.8

Step-by-step explanation:

x= -1.8

y=0.4
