3x-2y=-3.........eq 2

put eq 1 in 2

3(4-y)-2y=-3

12-3y-2y=-3

12-5y=-3

-5y=-3-12

-5y=-15

5y=15

y=3.......eq 3

x+y=4.......eq 4

put eq3 in eq 4

x+3=4

x=1
