Step-by-step explanation:

X-y = 5 ---- 1

x = 5+y

3x+2y = 25 ----2

3(5+y) + 2y = 25

15+3y+2y = 25

5y = 25-15

5y = 10

y = 10÷5 = 2

Substituting y = 2 in equation 1

x-y=5

x-2 = 5

x = 5+2

x = 7

Solution (x,y) = (7,2)

Answer:

X= 7

Y=  2

Step-by-step explanation:

given X-Y = 5

so  x = 5 + y

put x in second equation = 3 (5+ Y )+2Y = 25

                                              = 15 +3y +2y = 25

                                               = 15 + 5y = 25

                                               =  5y = 25- 15

                                               =  5y = 10

                                               =  y = 10/5

                                              = y = 2

so we know that x = 5 + y

       so x = 5+ 2

        x = 7

hence x = 7 ; y =2

hope this help you
