(1)×2 =>> 6x-2y-14 = 0---(3)

(2)×3 =>> 6x+15y+3 = 0---(4)

(4)-(3) =>> 17y+17 =0

=>> 17y = -17

=>> y=-1

Putting y= -1 in equation(1)

=>> 3x-(-1)-7=0

=>> 3x+1-7=0

=>> 3x= 6

=>> x= 2
