Given x^2-3x+1=0

here a=1 b= -3 and c=1

By quadratic formula we have ,

x= -b+- root b^2-4ac ÷ 2a

x= 3+- root 9-4÷2

x= 3+ root 5÷2 or 3-root 5 ÷2
