\frac{C}{10}\:=\:\frac{5}{12} (Given)

✓ Therefore, By Cross Multiplying,

✓ C × 12 = 5 × 10

✓ Transposing 12 to Right Hand Side

✓ C = \frac{5 × 10}{12}

✓ C = \frac{50}{12}

✓ C = 4.166

The value of C is hence, 4.166 ✓

In Approx. We did it because, This is an equivalent fraction.

And if a Fraction is equivalent, Then, It's cross products are equal too.

Thanks!

Answer:

\large\boxed{\sf{\dfrac{25}{6}}}

Step-by-step explanation:

Given

 \dfrac{c}{10}  =  \dfrac{5}{12}

Now, do cross multiplication

 =  > 12 \times c = 10 \times 5 \\  \\  =  > 12c = 5 \\  \\  =  > c =  \frac{50}{12} \\  \\  =  > c =  \frac{25}{6}

Hence, value of c is 25/6.
