cos(2x +3y)=1/2
but, cos 60=1/2
⇒(2x+3y=60)×3=6x+9y=180⇒eq.1
cos(3x+2y)=√3/2
but,cos 30=√3/2
⇒(3x+2y=30)×2=6x+4y=60⇒eq.2
eq1-eq2=
6x+9y=180
-
6x+4y=60
5y=120
y=24
3x+2y=30
3x=30-48
3x=-18
x=-6
Therefore,
x=-6 and y=24
Hope it helped you!! :)
