Equation-1=2x+y=4

Equation-2=3x-y=1

Now, by adding Equation-1 & Equation-2, we have that,

2x+y+3x-y=4+1

5x=5{y is eliminated}

x=1

Now, by putting the value of x in Equation-1, we have that,

2+y=4

y=2

So,

x=1 & y=2
