solve each of the following equations

a. 3p = 4p-6

b.2n = 6+8n over 7

Here is your answer:

a)  3p  = 4p -6 
 
      6 = 4p - 3p
 
So, p = 6.

b) 2n =  \frac{6 + 8n }{7}

    14n = 6 + 8n

    14n-8n = 6

    6n = 6
 
    n = 1

Therefore answer for, a) 6  & b) 1
