Step-by-step explanation:

-3x +y = 5

multiplying by 3

-9x +3y = 15.....(1)

2x +3y = 8......(2)

let's subtract (1) - (2) ---->

-9x +3y = 15

2x +3y = 8

_____________

-11x = 8

x = (-8/11)

put x in one of equations

2x +3y = 8

3y = 8 + 16/11

3y = 104/11

y = 104/33

Hope it helps uh!
