Answer:

the no. will be 85

Step-by-step explanation:

let the unit digit be x

10's digit => x+3

10(x+3)+x

digits interchanged =10x+x+3

10(x+3)+x+10x+x+3=143

=> 10x+30+12x+3=143

=> 22x+33=143

22x=143−33

22x=110

x=11022

x=5

Original number = 85

Let the number be 10x + y.

Even 10x + y is considered as the answer, 10y + x, which is formed by interchanging the digits, is also an answer.

Here,

(10x + y) + (10y + x) = 143

⇒ 11x + 11y = 143

⇒ 11(x + y) = 143

⇒ x + y = 13     →     (1)

Given that,

x - y = 3     →     (2)

(1) + (2)

⇒ (x + y) + (x - y) = 13 + 3

⇒ 2x = 16

⇒ x = 8

(1) - (2)

⇒ (x + y) - (x - y) = 13 - 3

⇒ 2y = 10

⇒ y = 5

10x + y = 10 × 8 + 5 = 80 + 5 = 85

10y + x = 10 × 5 + 8 = 50 + 8 = 58

85 and 58 are the answers.

Hope this helps. Plz ask me if you've any doubts.

Thank you. :-))
