using the LCM method we can do thins in the following way :

• LCM OF 4 AND 2 IS 2 ( as 4 is a multiple of 2)
• 1/2 = 2/2×1/2
• = 2/4
• 1/4 = 1/4.
• but there are no rational number between them so we multiply by 5 ( it's your wish to multiply I am doing it by 5)
• 1/4 = 5/5×1/4=5/20
• 2/4×5/5=10/20
• therefore 3 rational numbers between them are :
• 6/10
• 7/10
• 8/10 or 9/10 ( any 3 from this you wish)
