the mean =the sum of observation /number of observations

the mean weight of 9 person =sum of weight of their weight / 9

52 kg =sum of their weight /9

sum of their weight = 52 X 9
sum of their weight = 468 kg
when one manof 50kg leave the group
sum of their weight = 468-50=418kg

mean of their weight=sum of their weight /8
mean=418/8 = 52.25 kg
