Hey there !!

==================================

√3–1/√3+1 = a–b√3

=> √3–1 / √3+1 × √3–1 / √3–1

=> (√3–1)² / [(√3)²–(1)²]

=> 3+1–2√3 / 3–1

=> 4–2√3 / 2

=> 2(2–√3) / 2

=> 2–√3

=> a–b√3

So, a = 2 and b = 1 .
