solve following equation y-4/3+3y=4

y - \frac{4}{3} + 3y = 4 \\ \\
take LCM

 \frac{3y - 4 + 9y}{3} = 4 \\ \\ \frac{12y - 4}{3} = 4 \\ \\
cross multiply

12y - 4 = 12 \\ \\ 12y = 12 + 4 \\ \\ 12y = 16 \\ \\ y = \frac{16}{12} \\ \\ y = \frac{4}{3} \\ \\
Hope it helps you.
