3x +y = 1 ............1

2x -11y = 3 ............2

form eq1

y= 1-3x

put y in eq2

2x -11(1-3x) = 3

2x -11 + 33x = 3

31x = 3+11

31x = 14

x= 14/31

put x in y

y= 1- 3 × 14/31

y= 1 - 42/31

y= 31-42/31

y= -11/31
