Answer:

5(2x-3y=10)

3(4x-5y=15)

--------------

10x- 15y =50

12x-15y = 45

(-) (+) (-)

------------------

-2x +0 =5

X=5/-2

------------------

2(5/-2)- 3y =10

10/-2 -3y= 10

-3y=10-5

-3y= 5

y= 5/-3

Answer:

x = -5/2 and y = -5

Step-by-step explanation:

2x-3y=10 ------equation 1

4x-5y=15 ------equation 2

Multiply eqn1 × 2 ; we get

4x-6y=20 ------equation 3

Subtract equation 2 and equation 3 ,

(4x-5y) - (4x-6y)=15-20

=> 4x - 5y - 4x + 6y = -5

=> y = -5

Substitute value of y in equation 1 ; we get

2x - (3×-5) = 10

2x -(-15) = 10

2x + 15 =10

2x = -5

=> x = -5/2
